Can I buy a Gold Parking Pass?

Gold parking passes are for Gold ticket holders only and are not available for purchase. General car parking passes are available for purchase on your day of arrival.

Arriving by Private Coach Hire

If you are travelling to Rockstar Energy presents Creamfields 2024 in a private hire vehicle with 17seats or more and are camping for the duration of the festival MUST pre-book a departure time for Monday 26th August 2024.

This will allow coaches to park in the designated ‘Private Coaches’ area and collect their party at their chosen time slot. Once you have booked your slot, the booker will be issued a parking permit which must be window displayed on approach to the event.

Coach Parking slots can be purchased for £20+BF. You need to book a slot for each vehicle using the Creamfields coach area.
There is no charge to drop off at the official coach park, the charge relates to your pick up slot on Monday
This is for all vehicles with 17 seats or more ONLY
Any vehicles under 17 seats will need to use the pick up/drop off area at the festival
Parking permits will be sent by email approximately 1 week prior to the event
Coaches and passengers must be ready to depart at the Coach Pick Up/Drop Off within the 30-minute time slot booked
For customer safety Coach drivers are advised NOT to stop or drop off on local roads and follow event signage for ‘Private Coaches’, CCTV will be in operation. Coach drivers who are required to rest, please find a local facility away from the festival site.

Alternatively, pre book with our official coach partner Big Green Coach from 51 destinations around the UK. If you have a large crew and book 9 or more seats the lead booker gets 50% of their seat.

If you book 9 or more seats, email customerservice@biggreencoach.co.uk with your booking reservation number and request for 50% off lead booker’s seat price, and Big Green Coach will refund 50% of that fare.

Is there security in the car parks?

There will be increased security across the festival site including car parks which will include 24 hour CCTV and Mobile Security Patrols. Please be as vigilant as you would be anywhere else, do not leave valuables on show in your vehicles, and make use of the Safe Storage on site which is located next to Lost Property/Welfare.

Where is the festival?

Rockstar Energy presents Creamfields is located just between Liverpool and Manchester in the beautiful Cheshire countryside (Daresbury, Cheshire) and couldn’t be easier to get to, whatever your mode of transport.

Is there car parking?

The deadline to pre-book a car park pass has now passed, but you can purchase a parking pass on the day.

Is there a shuttle bus service?

Rockstar Energy presents Creamfields shuttle buses will be running throughout the days and nights of the festival weekend, taking you directly to and from the festival site.

We’re keen to be green and reduce our carbon footprint so please use public transport and the shuttle buses service we have provided. The Creamfields shuttle bus service operates from Liverpool, Manchester and Warrington. With all of our shuttle bus locations connected to major transport hubs, it couldn’t be easier.

Deadline to pre book a shuttle bus ticket this 15th August at 5pm, however, you can purchase these on the day of travel for the Liverpool & Warrington services (please note this excludes Manchester – pre booked tickets must be purchased if you wish to use this route too the festival. However, tickets can be purchased on the day for the return service from site to Manchester).

When you are leaving the festival, if you have not pre-purchased your shuttle bus ticket, you can purchase one from the shuttle bus box office located next to the Bridge at the shuttle bus pick up point near to the North Entrance, where the shuttle buses will be departing from.

Runcorn & Widnes tickets can only be purchased from the festival shuttle bus box office – there is no pre-booking available for these destinations.

Please ensure you keep hold of your Shuttle Bus Ticket as you will need this for your return journey.

** The Manchester Shuttle service can not be purchased on the day to the event, however, you can purchase a shuttle ticket from the Shuttle Bus Box office on site for your return journey.

***Tickets for Liverpool and Warrington can be purchased on the day at the departure point.

Shuttle bus service – Runcorn/Widnes

A service is in operation from the festival site to Runcorn train station and Widnes Morrisons only. There is no service from Runcorn or Widnes TO the festival site. It is a short journey of 20 minutes from the festival to Runcorn and another 10 minutes to Widnes.

Runcorn train station is connected to the West Coast Mainline with direct links to London, Birmingham, Manchester, Scotland and Wales.

Please note tickets to Runcorn / Widnes can only be purchased from the Creamfields shuttle bus box office located next to the Bridge near to the North Entrance. There are no pre-bookable tickets available for this service.

How do I travel to the festival by car?

Standard, Bronze, Silver and Pre-Pitch customers should follow event signage for South Car Park

All day ticket holders should follow signage for North Car Park

Directions

The festival is located in Daresbury, Cheshire in the North West of England near to Liverpool and Manchester.

The routes to the festival will be clearly signposted to help avoid traffic congestion and ensure everyone gets maximum time at the festival and minimum time on the motorway.

If you follow the dedicated festival signs to the festival you will get to the site quicker. We advise you to not use sat-nav systems as there will be road closures in place around the festival site.

Journey Times

Taxis

If you are taking a taxi to site, please ensure that the taxi driver follows signs to the Drop Off & Pick Up point. We advise you to only use pre-booked taxis, agree fares in advance of the start of the journey and make a note of the driver ID badge and vehicle plate to report any issues you have to the onsite taxi marshals. If you do use a Hackney cab, make sure that the meter is on and that the driver is aware that they may only drop off at the designated Drop Off point at the festival.

Mersey Gateway Bridge

For all festival goers travelling across the Mersey Gateway Bridge or Silver Jubilee Bridge – these are free-flow toll bridges and no toll booths are on this route! You must pay for your crossing by midnight the day after you cross. Don’t get caught out pre-pay now to avoid a Penalty Charge Notice! Is there a pickup and drop-off point?

The drop off and pick up point is located near to the North car park. Please follow event road signage for ‘Pick Up/Drop Off’.

This applies for ALL ticket holders, including Gold, Silver, Bronze & Dreamfields. Follow all road signage for Drop Off/Pick Up. Do not attempt access to the South car parks for dropping off as you be directed back to the drop off point which will add time to your journey and you may be charged the standard car parking rate.

How do I travel to the festival by train?

The nearest train stations to the festival site are Runcorn Station, Warrington Central, Warrington Bank Quay and Liverpool Lime Street, all of which are connected to the main line and have shuttle buses operating to and from the site all day and night.

Warrington Bank Quay

Trains to and from Warrington Bank Quay will be busier than usual from Thursday 22 – Sunday 25 August as well as on bank holiday Monday 26 August due to Creamfields Festival. Please leave plenty of time for your journey as there may be queuing systems in place at the station. Creamfield shuttle buses will be running between Warrington Bus Interchange and the festival site.

Warrington, Liverpool and Manchester will have buses running to and from the site.

Runcorn

Trains to and from Runcorn will be busier than usual from Thursday 22 – Sunday 25 August as well as on bank holiday Monday 26 August due to Creamfields Festival. Please leave plenty of time for your journey as there may be queuing systems in place at the station. Creamfield shuttle buses will be running to Runcorn station from the festival site.

Runcorn doesn’t have any buses running to the site, only from the site upon leaving.

What’s the nearest airport?

If you are travelling to the festival from overseas then book your flights to either Liverpool John Lennon Airport or Manchester Airport.

Connect to The Shuttle Bus

From Liverpool John Lennon Airport, you can take a short bus journey to Liverpool South Parkway train station where you can catch a train to Warrington Central and hop on a shuttle bus which will take you directly to the festival.

If you are flying into Manchester Airport, you can also take a train to Warrington Central from the train station at the airport.

Are campervans or caravans allowed on site?

No, sorry you cannot bring your campervan (this includes caravans & motorhomes) – the campsites at Rockstar Energy presents Creamfields are tented only. If you purchase a Camping ticket then you must camp within our campsites.

You may not camp in the car parks or sleep in your car.
